From my stay, I loved that it was just a short walk along the river to York Minster and the National Railway Museum, making it super convenient for my explorations. The staff were really friendly and provided great walking tips that added to my experience.

I had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was like a feast, with tons of choices, and served quickly. My room had lovely touches like great coffee and biscuits! I’d stay here again without a doubt.

The only downside was the bed comfort. it was a bit noisy and uncomfortable with a gap that kept losing pillows.

Plus, it’s a stone's throw from some cracking eateries like Bettys Café and The Star Inn the City—perfect for a foodie like me! the staff were as lovely as a sunny day in York, making it feel like home.

A smidgen noisy with the window open, and the shower was a bit of a struggle with drainage. The decor could use a cheeky refresh, too. Just a couple of quirks, but nothing that soured my visit in the least!
